Professional Smog A.I.R pump rebuilding service
We offer 2 levels of service for smog pumps
Standard Rebuild:

Basically we take your old, dirty, frozen, or noisy smog pump and restore it to proper operating condition.
This is accomplished by first completely tearing down the pump and inspecting the critical components.
Those parts are then cleaned, blasted, painted, and all threads are tapped.
Next, is what sets us apart from our competitors.
The bearing in the top of the housing, this bearing is the one that handles most of the load, and it's usually the part that fails.
The original bearings had serrated grooves on the OD that aligned with grooves in the housing which were filled with epoxy to lock them in place.
Our standard for quality is so high we went out of our way to have bearings made that match the type of bearing the OE suppliers used and we follow the same process of using epoxy to lock them in.
All new parts are used to replace any perished internals.
Upon Re-assembly the pump will get tested with our custom built test machine to ensure that it functions properly and operates quietly.
Concours Rebuild:

This includes everything included in the standard rebuild, plus:
Hand washing of all external parts to maintain original patina.
A proprietary process that restores the smog pump to nearly its original factory appearance.
